Forsyth, GEORGIA — Kristi Lovelace, Forsyth, Georgia's long-time municipal court judge, has accepted a position as assistant counsel to the Governor of American Samoa. She will be advising the Governor in all aspects of his duties, particularly in regard to legal matters, such as drafting legislation.
Lovelace resigned from her Forsyth judgeship in May and began her trip to American Samoa on June 5, flying from Atlanta to Honolulu for a two-week quarantine before taking a flight to the Pacific Islands that will be her home for at least the next two years.
