Food stamps to be distributed next week

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Lt. Gov. Talauega Eleasalo Ale, announced in a news conference Thursday morning that the COVID-19 Task Force has approved the food stamp distribution plan by the Department of Human and Social Service (DHSS) and it is set for next week.

He said DHSS would notify all eligible food stamps recipients about the distribution, which will be held at the DHSS center in Utulei.

And the task force is allowing the distribution with a limit of 100 people per day.
