Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Dept. of Health vaccination clinics will open only Tuesday through Thursday this week as the new year approaches.
In a press release issued over the weekend, DoH announced COVID-19 vaccination sites will open to the public for individuals 5 years of age and older, as well as boosters at each of the following designated locations.
On Tuesday and Thursday, COVID-19 vaccines will be available at 4 locations in Amouli and Leone, and Tafuna, as well as DYWA facilities in Pago Pago and Tafuna.
If you or a loved one are scheduled to receive your second shot, please visit the vaccination clinics as early as you can.
The second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine should be given at least twenty-one days after the first dose date. DOH recommends that you receive your second dose any time within twenty-one to forty-two days after your first dose date.
The cash incentive for eligible individuals is available.
DOH thanks you for your effort to protect the community from COVID-19 by supporting quarantine policies, wearing masks, and getting vaccinated.
