DOC employees celebrate their successful trade show

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Dept. of Commerce employees were in fine spirits on Flag Day as they lined up to march following their very successful trade show that took place at the DYWA gymnasium in Tafuna.   

The two-day event —April 14 & 15 — showcased locally made products and services from both Samoas, creating economic trade opportunities.

Exhibitor Latin’a Cocina called it “a wonderful 2 days of fun & business exchange” and gave a big shout out to the hardworking DOC team and entered that comment on the DOC Facebook page. 

A big plus for exhibitors was the launch of ASTCA’s 5G service, available for free to exhibitors and all who attended event, compliments of the government-owned communications authority.

At Saturday’s final day, a recognition ceremony was held to acknowledge all exhibitors, food vendors and private sector partners.
