Bluesky Communications launches search for new CEO

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — AST Telecom LLC, operating as Bluesky Communications, announced that Justin Tuiasosopo's contract as Chief Executive Officer has reached its scheduled completion at the close of the company’s fiscal year, effective June 30, 2025. Mr. Tuiasosopo is departing on good terms following a successful tenure.

Under Mr. Tuiasosopo’s leadership, Bluesky achieved significant milestones. This included the comprehensive upgrading and modernization of its entire network, notably launching 5G services in partnership with Ericsson. He was also instrumental in establishing stronger government and community partnerships, fostering vital collaborations that benefited the American Samoan people. Furthermore, his tenure saw significant improvements in employee engagement, cultivating a positive and productive work environment for the Bluesky team, and securing financial stability for the company.

The Board of Directors has initiated a recruitment search for Justin's successor. In the interim, Mr. Aloiamoa Anesi, Chief Technical Officer, will assume leadership responsibilities as Acting CEO to ensure a smooth transition.
