Beyond the shore of American Samoa aboard the E/V Nautilus

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Magdalene Augafa is exploring beyond the shore aboard the E/V Nautilus.

She is a Professional Development Facilitator for Ocean Literacy and serves on the NMSAS Sanctuary Advisory Council.

Born and raised in American Samoa, Magdalene is passionate about providing the necessary resources and education content to teachers and the community at large to help encourage future generations to explore the many career opportunities at their fingertips.
