Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The American Samoa Tennis Association (ASTA) has been officially selected to host the 2026 East Pacific Regional Championships (EPRC), scheduled for February 2–7, 2026 in Pago Pago, American Samoa, according to Dr. Florence Wasko, President of ASTA.
The last time American Samoa hosted this event was 11 years ago. ASTA extends its gratitude to the Oceania Tennis Federation, International Tennis Federation, local partners, and community supporters whose collaboration makes this event possible.
“We are excited to once again welcome players, coaches, and supporters from across the Pacific to American Samoa,” said ASTA president. “Hosting the East Pacific Regional Championships (EPRC) not only gives our young athletes regional competition on home courts, but also promotes the growth of tennis throughout Oceania.”
This event will bring together top junior athletes from across the region, with participating countries expected to include American Samoa, Cook Islands, Norfolk Islands, Samoa, Tahiti, and Tonga.
The 2026 tournament will mark the third consecutive year that ASTA has been afforded the honor of hosting a regional tournament in American Samoa —underscoring the territory’s growing role as a hub for competitive tennis in the Pacific.
The weeklong tournament will feature both singles and doubles matches across multiple age divisions, serving as a qualifier for the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships (POJC) in Fiji later in April 2026.
Beyond the courts, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the unique hospitality, culture, and natural beauty of American Samoa.
