ASG Treasury provides free off-site tax assistance this year

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Tax payers who aren’t able to visit the tax office during normal working hours will have options for assistance with their taxes this year at two off-site locations.

The Dept. of Treasury in partnership with the Dept. of Youth and Women’s Affairs (DYWA) will be taking the free filing assistance program to the two DYWA gymnasiums on the following dates and times:

Jan. 27, 2024 at the DYWA Pago Pago Gymnasium from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Feb. 03, 2024 at the DYWA Tafuna Gymnasium also from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Tax season is here and by law you should receive your W-2s and 1099s by the end of January.  Make sure your taxes are filed on time, visit one of the DYWA locations on the dates provided for service.
