Preserving our Samoan culture — while living in Hawaii

Manu Studios' students (ranging in age from 7-yrs.old to 21+) at their 1st showcase event,

Honolulu, HAWAII — Manu Studios' students (ranging in age from 7-yrs.old to 21+) at their 1st showcase event, featuring Samoan siva & pese, held in Honolulu last Saturday, Nov. 2nd. The students danced for a packed auditorium of family, friends, sponsors, and Hawaiian & other Polynesian community groups.

Their proud instructors Lefa Galoia-Lauti [seated far left] & Reo Tafa'i [seated far right] are also its founding members. All their students are taught the Fa'a Samoa & urged to “U’u mau i lau aganu’u”…"hold on to your culture".

Some of the students will be performing their Samoan siva at the 1st Annual Pasifika Festival Honolulu on Nov. 9th.
