Pago Pago, AMERICA SAMOA — Samoa News’ Mother’s Day contest “first-winner”, Jane Montbriand (middle), with her is Eseta Taufete’e and two siblings after being presented with gifts at the Samoa News office yesterday. Drawing for the contest was held Wednesday — the contest asked the question, what is the “word that Best describes” your mother. Her answer was “compassionate”.

Winners were picked from over a 100 entrants, and the contest was streamed on the Samoa News+ Media Facebook page.
