Carson CA United Samoan Church honors its graduating seniors

Carson, CA — This is the first baccalaureate for the United Samoan Church in Carson, California. 12 seniors were honored as they were unable to have their traditional ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Of the 12 that were honored, 11 are college bound and 1 has joined the military. Eight of these young ladies will be going to college on scholarships.

United Samoan Church is led by Reverend Peniamina ma le Tinā Alice Taito. A lot of these children have grandparents and families back home.
