The first Pacific Region Ecovesities Gathering was held earlier this month at Kahumana Farms on the Waiʻanae Coast on Oahu in Hawaii, bringing together Hawaiian, Sāmoan and Tahitian cousins to collaborate on the future of Pacific island education. The movement is made up of people and communities around the world reclaiming their local knowledge systems and learning practices to restore and re-envision learning processes that are meaningful and relevant to our times.
