Container ship arrivals prompt shoppers to jam the roads

When word got out that Cost-U-Less containers of bottled water and other goods had arrived, local residents flocked to the store to stock up and also replenish their supplies. It however, caused a long line of traffic on Tuesday afternoon, as seen in this photo, with traffic next to the Veterans Memorial Stadium stretching back all the way through to McDonald’s Tafuna on the Airport/ Nu’uuli road.
