Aumua Amata wins re-election 2018

Incumbent Congresswoman Aumua Amata with supporters during her campaign wave at Avau in Nu’uuli, the day before Election Tuesday.  Amata is heading back to Washington D.C. for a third consecutive term after being re-elected, beating out challengers Meleagi Suitonu-Chapman and Tuika Tuika.  Of interest: Results of U.S. elections show she will be returning to a US House of Representatives that will be decidedly dominated by the Democratic Party.
