April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month with this year's theme, "Embrace Your Voice." As one of the activities, the Alliance for Strengthening Families held an "Embrace Your Voice" Poetry Slam for which they brought in from Apia, Doris Tulifau. Tulifau is an activist with a passion for youth advocacy and is the founder of the global organization "Brown Girl Woke", promoting girls to stand up for themselves. [courtesy photo]
