11th Anniversary of Tsunami — A Quiet Remembrance photo & caption

Members of the Rotary Club of Pago Pago posed for a Samoa News photo yesterday morning, after placing a bouquet of flowers on the monument which lists the names of the 34 victims of the Sept. 29, 2009 tsunami — the worst natural disaster in American Samoa’s recent history.  At that ceremony Rotary members said the Hawaiian Airlines Tsunami Memorial Picnic Shelter “will always be a testimony for those who lost their lives.
